One of the student committee’s initiatives is to create opportunities for students and early career ornithologists to showcase their work in Picoides, the society’s tri-annual bulletin. This year, we want to feature your fieldwork, including photos, art, funny field stories, highlights from your season, descriptions of your work, challenges and lessons learned, and anything else you want to share.
Please direct questions and submit your contributions by email to student@sco-soc.ca. AND attend the conference to meet our current members, learn about the committee and its initiatives, and meet other students from across the globe!

L’une des initiatives du comité étudiant consiste à offrir aux étudiant(e)s et aux jeunes ornithologues l’occasion de présenter leurs travaux dans Picoides, le bulletin trimestriel de la SOC. Cette année, nous souhaitons mettre en lumière vos travaux de terrain avec des photos, illustrations, anecdotes amusantes, moments marquants de vos saisons au terrain, descriptions de vos travaux, défis rencontrés et leçons apprises, et tout autre que vous aimeriez partager.
