Hello Roost users, and Happy New Year to all! I hope the first few weeks of the year are treating you all wonderfully, and the year to come is a good one.
We are excited to see how the Roost grows and evolves in its first year of existence. Our hope is that it becomes a vibrant, diverse, and supportive community for everyone pursuing the understanding and conservation of birds in Canada. To that end, we are encouraging everyone to share it widely with anyone you think may find value in it. The more the merrier, so please help us spread the word!
You can also help jump-start the Roost by sharing content that might be relevant to the community - ornithological news, novel research, questions, ideas, job/academic opportunities and more. The more active the community, the more value it will have when it comes time to find collaborators, solve problems, or work together towards common goals.
Thank you all for joining this new community, and all the best for a year filled with birds!
Kyle
